About Us

Build quicker, design for beauty, engineer for lasting performance.

Concrete products since 1979

Since our inception in 1979 by Maurice Delaney, Delaney Concrete Ltd has been at the forefront of delivering high-quality concrete products. Our journey began with supplying window sills to the housing sector, evolving into a comprehensive range of products including the innovative Bio-Crete wastewater treatment system, introduced in 1999.

Our Evolution: In 2007, we transitioned to a purpose-built facility in Clonroche, Co. Wexford, equipped with state-of-the-art, computerized equipment. This move marked a significant step in our commitment to quality and efficiency, allowing us to expand our product range and enhance production times.

Our Values: At the heart of our operations are our core values – “Build quicker, Design for beauty, Engineer for lasting performance.” These principles guide us in every project, ensuring that we deliver not just products, but solutions that embody efficiency, aesthetic excellence, and enduring quality.

Towards a Lower Carbon Future: Recognising the urgent need for environmental stewardship, we are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint. Our efforts include the adoption of self-compacting concrete, material engineering advancements, and the integration of solar panels. We are committed to a journey towards a lower carbon future, innovating in ways that respect our planet.

Innovation and Expansion: Our spirit of innovation is not just confined to product development. We are continually exploring new methodologies and technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. Our expansion plans are not just about growing our physical footprint but also about broadening our impact and capabilities in the construction sector.

Family and Community: Remaining a family-run business, with Maurice, Mary, Deirdre and Hugh, we cherish our long-standing relationships with our customers (sometimes selling to three generations of the same families). These relationships are the foundation of our past and the cornerstone of our future.

Looking Forward: As we navigate the changing landscape of construction, we invite our valued customers, both old and new, to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we will continue to create amazing buildings, contribute to a sustainable environment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in concrete manufacturing.
